Summary
Join ServiceRocket, a global tech-enabled services company, as a Business Development Representative and play a key role in supporting Account Executives, prospecting new customers, and nurturing existing ones. You will proactively identify and qualify prospective customers, educate them on ServiceRocket's solutions, and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective strategies. Responsibilities include participating in customer calls, developing targeted sales strategies, driving sales growth, and acting as a subject-matter expert on ServiceRocket's offerings. The ideal candidate possesses 1-2 years of customer-facing experience in sales support or operations, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and excellent communication and presentation skills. A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment are essential. Requirements
- Typically requires a minimum of 1-2 years of customer facing experience, specifically in sales support or sales operations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment, collaborating effectively across cultures and time zones; able to leverage synchronous and asynchronous communication tools to ensure seamless connectivity to the global team
- Quick learner with a strong sense of ownership and resilience
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and committed to exceeding expectations
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and qualify prospective customers leveraging business directories, industry events, and community engagement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Marketing teams, to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Educate customers on the value proposition and benefits of our solutions
- Collaborate closely with our marketing team to develop and execute effective strategies to promote our services and product offerings
- Participate in customer calls to understand needs and build relationships
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies in partnership with Account Executives to increase funnel conversion rates and generate high-quality leads
- Drive sales growth and account management within assigned territory
- Act as a subject-matter expert on all things ServiceRocket–products and services
- Reporting on activity through company-required platforms. At times, present updates to the Leadership team and company
