Associate - Cost Segregation

Summary

The job is for a Senior Associate/Experienced Associate or Associate in Aprio's Cost Segregation team. The role involves preparing comprehensive fixed asset engagements, developing industry expertise, and helping train staff. The position is remote but only candidates residing near an Aprio office will be considered.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field required
• 1+ years of work experience within a cost segregation practice or a related field such as building inspection or appraisals, engineering related work, architecture, or building construction positions
• Proficient in Adobe Pro DC, MS products including Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and the ability to learn new software as needed
• Knowledge of RS Means and Marshall and Swift
• Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and timely
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive fixed asset engagements including cost segregation and fixed asset review studies
• Learn to research issues related to cost segregation and fixed asset matters and be able to articulate or prepare documentation related to such matters

Preferred Qualifications
