Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Python and/or SQL
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel, and BI tools (e.g. Quicksight, Tableau)
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with clear attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field (company fundamentals analysis, sustainability, data collection, data analysis, data research, consulting, auditing)
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Accounting, Environmental Studies or similar field of study
  • Self-starter who will thrive in a start-up setting by taking ownership and initiative
  • Decisive and action-oriented who can get things done, make rapid decisions even when they are short of information, and someone who has high energy and stamina
  • Highly motivated, independent and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level-proficient user)

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that we have the most accurate environmental, social and governance data to provide reliable sustainability impact measurements
  • Assisting in data collection project management through data analysis, quality assurance and data monitoring using BI, Excel, SQL and Python
  • Conducting frequent research on sustainability reporting standards and assist in the development of methodologies for the collection of ESG indicators
  • Mentoring and training external contractors and internal team on ESG indicators and sustainability frameworks
  • Performing ad hoc team projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a start-up
  • Knowledge of the EU Taxonomy is a plus!
  • Prior/working knowledge of ESG research or analysis is an advantage
