Requirements

  • Advanced degree preferred with 8+ years of experience in clinical development, data analytics, and AI applications
  • Experience leading or participating in AI projects within clinical or biomedical domains
  • Understanding of clinical trial processes with skills to translate them into AI solutions
  • Background in AI, machine learning, and data science, with practical experience in clinical applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements for AI in clinical trials
  • Experience supporting project management within complex, multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to innovation and change within a matrixed organization

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy and execution of AI solutions to enhance clinical trial performance and efficiency, with direct or operational oversight from a Director, Clinical Artificial Intelligence
  • Translate clinical and therapeutic needs into AI-driven solutions under the guidance of senior and functional leaders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to lead AI projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • Coordinate AI initiatives, ensuring integration with existing programs and strategic alignment
  • Support resource allocation, budget management, and project deliverables to achieve desired outcomes
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and best practices for AI applications within clinical settings
  • Stay informed about emerging AI methodologies to support strategic decision-making
  • Provide assistance in consulting on AI integration within therapeutic areas, addressing clinical challenges
  • Contribute to developing the digital skills and acumen of team members in line with strategic goals
