Associate Director of Epidemiology

Summary

Requirements

• A PhD with an emphasis in epidemiology
• Knowledge of RWD study design and execution
• Experience with data analysis, specifically from observational study designs
• Experience with epidemiological, registry, EMR, and/or claims data
• Experience using R, Python, SQL or similar and a highly technical acumen
• Experience summarizing data for presentation

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, interpret, report and publish the results of observational research studies
• Ask the right scientific questions, ideate and make recommendations on fit-for-purpose data and analytics solutions
• Develop a comprehensive and deep understanding of the company’s data and foster learning with colleagues using analytical tools and applications to broaden data accessibility and advance our proficiency/efficiency in understanding and using the data appropriately
• Collaborate with external partners (e.g., key opinion leaders, regulatory decision makers, academic institutions, life science partners, payers) as needed on the design and implementation of RWD studies
• Collaborate with internal partners (analytics, informatics, oncology and strategy) to understand RWD needs and priorities, and develop plans to execute RWD projects based on these needs

• The target base salary for this position is $155,000-185,000
