KiwiCo is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Editor/Writer with 2+ years of experience in editorial roles and a Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field. The candidate will write, edit, and refine content for KiwiCo's educational content across various platforms.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in editorial roles
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
• Direct experience creating content for kids and their parents with a portfolio of past work
• Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in written content
• Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
• Skilled at cross-functional creative collaboration, with excellent communication skills and the ability to give and receive feedback

Responsibilities

• Write written content including instructional materials and marketing collateral
• Review and revise content to improve readability, structure, and flow
• Copy editing and proofreading
• Ensure consistency in style, formatting, and tone across different pieces of content

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of educational content development and early childhood development is a plus
