Associate Engineer

Summary

As an Associate Engineer, you'll tackle technical problems, collaborate with teams, and maintain services. Requirements

• Completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Software Engineering (or a related STEM discipline), or finished a coding bootcamp within the last 12 months, or are in the process of completing one
• Willing to learn to work across the technology stack that Culture Amp uses to develop our products - you are likely to find yourself working with React/TypeScript, Ruby, Kotlin, and Go but not limited to only these
• Proactive and clear communicator. Value empathy and kindness and are able to articulate your ideas and feelings when writing or speaking, and are open to the perspectives others bring
• Self-motivated and can work independently. Take the initiative to ensure you have everything you need to work efficiently and call for support when required
• Have a growth mindset and are willing to embrace challenges

Responsibilities

• Tackle a wide variety of technical problems across our codebases as you build features with support from your team
• Collaborate with other engineers in your team through pair programming
• Work with the product managers and designers in your team to understand customer problems and help to develop, refine, and then implement solutions
• Maintain and support the services your team is responsible for
