Requirements

  • Be a California resident
  • Hold an active Associate California Clinical Social Workers (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapists (AMFT), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors (APCC) license
  • Have at least 6 months of experience as a registered Associate therapist
  • Ensure that your Associate license is not in concurrent status and/or reach concurrent status during employment
  • Be well-versed in mental health counseling practices, including initial triage, risk assessment/management, crisis interventions, ICD-10 codes, and treatment planning
  • Be proficient with technology, including EHR systems, Zoom, and Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Provide attuned psychotherapy: All Associates, regardless of the status of their supervised experience, are required to work with clients who are children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families
  • Work full-time (36 hours/week: 26 hours of therapy sessions, 2 hours for individual, triadic, and/or group supervision and 8 hours for admin time). Your schedule will include availability to see clients 2 weekdays/week between 4 PM - 7 PM (Pacific time) or one weekday/week 4 PM - 7 PM (Pacific time) and Saturday 9 AM - 2 PM (Pacific time)
  • Develop assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and professionals in an interdisciplinary approach to provide holistic care
