Associate Principal Data Engineer

Join our dynamic and global Digital Product Engineering company as a Data Engineer! We're scaling rapidly and building exciting products. This role focuses on developing and optimizing data pipelines using Snowflake on Azure, implementing data models (including Data Vault 2.0), and building data products like SQL pipelines and dashboards. You will leverage scripting languages like Terraform and Python for automation and apply your knowledge of Data Mesh architecture. Collaborate with business teams to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable data products. We offer a non-hierarchical work culture.

Requirements

• Possess Snowflake skills
• Have 9+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Have experience with Snowflake on Azure

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake on Azure, ensuring data consistency and performance
• Implement data models, including Data Vault 2.0 methodologies (Dbt - Data Build Tool / Dvb - Data Vault Builder), to ensure scalable and efficient data architectures
• Design and build data products such as SQL data pipelines, Tableau/Power BI dashboards, and analytical reports to meet business requirements
• Use scripting languages like Terraform and Python to automate data workflows and infrastructure management
• Apply knowledge of Data Mesh architecture to help design and implement decentralized data products
• Ensure the efficiency and performance of data products, optimizing data pipelines and models for scalability
• Work independently with business teams to understand their data needs, translating requirements into actionable data products
