Requirements

  • Have a background in medical communications, healthcare advertising/marketing, ideally with 6+ years of experience
  • Have experience working on various medical communications projects (congress work, creative and copy design, content co-creation)
  • Possess a Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in a scientific (or equivalent) field; postgraduate research experience is advantageous
  • Demonstrate strong client service skills with a commitment to high quality
  • Be self-motivated, professional, detail-oriented, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Be comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Have advanced PC or Mac experience with MS Office Suite and functional experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro

Responsibilities

  • Develop content across various medical affairs/commercial projects, effectively briefing and reviewing according to client objectives
  • Onboard and mentor junior writers to enhance their scientific knowledge
  • Lead scientific client relationships within an account or large workstream, ensuring scientific accuracy and oversight (including resourcing)
  • Understand and anticipate client objectives; develop superior reviewing skills, including strategic problem-solving and project approaches; gain experience in strategic projects as part of a wider team
  • Support strategies for organic growth and business development
  • Directly manage junior colleagues and train/mentor other account team members
