Join NiCE, a global company, and become a Software Engineer contributing to the development, testing, and maintenance of software applications using .NET framework and Azure technologies. You will participate in scrum team activities, implement software features, perform testing, and collaborate with team members. The role requires expertise in C#, .NET, Azure, and MS-SQL, along with experience in RESTful APIs and Agile methodologies. You will diagnose and resolve software defects and stay updated on the latest technologies. NiCE offers a hybrid work model (2 days in office, 3 days remote) and a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science Engineering or from similar background
  • 1-1.8 years of experience working in the software industry as a Associate Software Engineer (Developer)
  • Software development experience in C#, .NET (.NET 8 / .NET 6 / .NET Core / .NET Framework), Azure, MS-SQL
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and development
  • Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, ServiceBus, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB
  • Database skills: MS-SQL
  • Well established technical problem solving & debugging skills
  • Following coding standards, practices such as writing Unit test cases
  • Tools: Visual Studio, Git, ReSharper, Jira, Bamboo, Confluence
  • Knowledge and experience working with SOLID principles
  • Good communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional/global teams
  • Experience working with Agile/SCRUM/Agile SAFe software development methodology
  • Ability to work in complex N-tier architecture projects with a can-do attitude
  • Proven experience in operating within a global environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework and Azure technologies
  • Participate as a scrum team member in product development ceremonies
  • Understand the product stories, requirements, need & expectations
  • Implement software feature(s) according to agreed architecture and requirements
  • Plan and perform developer level testing to ensure fit to design and requirements
  • Own E2E delivery of features with documentation
  • Collaborate & work with core team individuals to achieve capabilities as a scrum team
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects, performance issues, and technical problems
  • Stay up to date with latest .Net Azure & K8s trends & best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and code performance
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, networking & connectivity
  • Experience in high performance, highly available, and scalable systems
  • Knowledge of Microservices and/or Cloud-Native Development
  • Familiarity with shell scripting / powershell & Linux OS
  • Familiarity with K8s, containers, Docker, virtualization technology, VMWare, etc
  • Familiarity and/or experience with public cloud infrastructures and technologies such as Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Azure Development AZ-204 or AZ-901 certification preferred (not mandatory)
  • Experience in and knowledge of Enterprise Unified Communications Infrastructures or Telecommunication system (such as Teams, Zoom, etc.) is a plus
