Associate Software Engineer, Frontend

Summary

Join Lucidworks as a Frontend Engineer to create and maintain exceptional user interfaces for their products using StencilJS, TypeScript, SCSS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize frontend applications, and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries (StencilJS experience is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient frontend applications using our stack (StencilJS, TypeScript, SCSS)
• Contribute to the development of common, reusable user interface components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement user interface requirements
• Engage in peer code reviews, share best practices, and contribute to the team's continuous improvement
• Ensure Lucidworks user interfaces are implemented consistently across products
• Work with the design team to translate concepts into functional and visually appealing interfaces
• Optimize frontend applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our component libraries
• Participate in the continuous improvement of our build and deployment processes using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and ArgoCD
