Associate Software Quality Engineer

Summary

Join ServiceNow and maintain existing automation test frameworks, collect and report quality metrics from test execution, and collaborate with developers to design and automate testing strategies for new features. Create comprehensive test plans, execute and automate them, and support engineering teams in troubleshooting application and dev/test environment issues. This role requires 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow-relevant technologies, knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript, Python, or Ruby), and strong problem-solving skills. You should be proficient in various testing techniques, including unit testing, manual testing, integration testing, and load testing. Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with technologies relevant to ServiceNow
• Knowledge of programming or scripting language such as JavaScript, Python or Ruby
• High level of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to test a system using techniques such as unit testing, run manual test cases, design an integration vs unit vs manual strategy, design a test reporting system, run load testing, figure out what to benchmark
• Some working knowledge and ability to use tools (such as IDE, debugger, build tools, source control, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily tasks
