Summary

Join Nagarro, a rapidly growing Digital Product Engineering company, as an Appian Developer. You will leverage your 5+ years of experience in Appian development to design, implement, and maintain robust solutions. Responsibilities include writing high-quality code, integrating Appian with external systems, and leading project implementations. You will need strong expertise in Appian BPMS, process modeling, and excellent communication skills. Appian certification is mandatory, and familiarity with other BPM solutions is a plus. The role involves collaboration with senior stakeholders and occasional travel for client engagements.

Requirements

  • Total experience 5+ years
  • Strong working experience in Appian development
  • Strong expertise in Appian BPMS project implementations, leveraging the full capabilities of the Appian BPM Suite
  • Experience in integrating Appian with databases, web services, and external systems
  • Hands-on expertise in process modeling, process monitoring, smart services, business rules, and event-driven technologies
  • Strong understanding of BPM architecture patterns, best practices, and design principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Appian certification (Associate/Senior Developer) is mandatory
  • Willingness to travel for short-duration assignments (client meetings, workshops, technical discussions, PoC demonstrations)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Writing and reviewing high-quality code following best practices for Appian development
  • Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing client needs in the project context
  • Designing scalable, efficient, and robust solutions using Appian process models, UI components, reporting, business rules, and case/content management
  • Leading and implementing Appian solutions, ensuring seamless integration with external systems
  • Conducting peer reviews and code audits to maintain compliance with development standards
  • Creating proprietary accelerators, utilities, and reusable components to enhance project delivery
  • Supporting pre-sales activities, including RFPs, RFIs, technical PoVs, and PoCs
  • Driving thought leadership through white papers, webinars, and blog contributions
  • Leading/supporting UAT and production rollouts
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring seamless project execution
  • Providing mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with other BPM solutions such as Pega, Camunda, or RPA solutions like UiPath, Automation Anywhere (AA) is a plus
