Associate Staff Engineer, QA Automation

Summary

Join Nagarro, a rapidly growing Digital Product Engineering company, as a Software Test Automation Engineer. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications, primarily within the ServiceNow platform. This position requires 5+ years of experience in software testing, including automation, and expertise in ServiceNow, its ATF module, and ITSM. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests using various tools and languages, collaborate with development teams, and contribute to all phases of the software testing lifecycle. A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field is required. The role involves working in an Agile environment and contributing to test planning and execution.

Requirements

• Total experience 5+ Years
• Strong experience in software testing e, including experience in automating test cases for web applications
• Having ISQTB Certification
• Excellent working experience in ServiceNow, ServiceNow ATF, ServiceNow ITSM Module
• Proven experience in testing during ServiceNow upgrades
• Experience using Selenium WebDriver and TFS, JIRA, GIT, Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
• Analyse application requirements and specifications to create test plans and test cases
• Design, develop and execute automated tests using Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, VBScript, Maven or other languages as required
• Should have experience in one Cucumber or Specflow
• Have a good experience in Test Automation Framework, Behavior Driven Testing, Gherkin, Jenkins, API Testing, Test Planning and Strategy, Rest Assured as required
• Use testing tools such as UFT, TOSCA, Test Complete, Katalon Studio, Appium, Coded UI, Protractor, Selenium, or other tools as required
• Expertise in performing end-to-end testing (both manual and automated) aligned with established software testing life cycles and methodologies
• Proficiency in Test and Defect Management
• Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and API automation
• Use testing frameworks such as Junit, Nunit, TestNg or other frameworks as required
• Solid understanding of Agile principles and experience working in an Agile environment
• Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of the applications
• Identify and report bugs and defects
• Generate and maintain test reports and documentation
• Collaborate with the software development team and other stakeholders on software quality
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

• Understanding the projects functional and non-functional requirements and the business context of the application being developed. Understanding and documenting requirements validated by the SMEs
• Develop, configure, and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow ATF to ensure the quality and reliability of applications and modules
• Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Execute manual and automated test cases and document results thoroughly
• Test various ITSM modules such as Incident, Change, Problem, and CMDB
• Perform end-to-end testing aligned with the software testing life cycle and methodologies
• Conduct testing during ServiceNow upgrades to ensure seamless functionality
