Requirements
- 10+ years of substantial experience in political, media, and/or community organizing, with a preference for work in those domains within the Jewish communal context
- Professional experience in and/or advanced working knowledge of Jewish life on campus, the higher education landscape, antisemitism, and associated political, media, and communal institutions
- A demonstrated ability to create, build, and manage a successful and sustainable program
- A high "EQ" and exceptional communications skills with ability to build strategic internal and external relationships
- Comfort rolling up sleeves to get things done while also participating in complex strategy discussions
- Experience coaching and mentoring, leading teams, and developing individuals
- Passion for and strong commitment to Hillel International's mission and vision
- Bachelor's degree required
Responsibilities
- Drive the strategy, design, development, and oversight of the Campus Impact Advisors program
- Revise and iterate program structure and content based on feedback, metrics, and evolving campus needs
- Serve as a critical partner and intermediary between Hillel International, campus Hillel staff and students, community stakeholders, and university partners to build trust, gain consensus, and make a tangible positive impact
- Work closely with internal leadership to deliver on our commitment to program funders by providing timely progress updates, relevant data and insights, and stewardship
- Partner with People Operations on the hiring of the inaugural cohort of Advisors, ensuring that top talent is brought in to support this crucial initiative
- Develop comprehensive training protocols for onboarding, training, and developing Advisors as part of a cohesive cohort, convening Advisors virtually and in person
- Discern and disseminate best practices emerging from within the cohort to the broader Hillel movement and beyond
- Build and sustain long-term relationships and develop political and media strategies to shift the campus climate effectively
- Provide support for Advisors as they navigate local challenges and serve as the escalation point for campuses facing particularly difficult situations
