Summary
Join MissionWired, a leading direct marketing agency for nonprofits and Democratic organizations, as an Associate Vice President. Lead a team of expert writers, collaborate with internal leads, and design cross-channel digital marketing campaigns for a portfolio of clients. Master industry best practices, foster team growth, and ensure your work drives real change. This role requires 5+ years of experience leading direct response marketing and digital strategy for nonprofits or political organizations. You will manage team members, identify prospective clients, and participate in business development. The salary range is $107,000 to $122,000 per year, and the position is currently remote.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading direct response marketing, digital strategy, and creative best practices for nonprofits, politicals, or both
- A predisposition toward out-of-the-box thinking and bold ideas
- Comfort working up and down your skillset
- Experience with client-facing roles
- A passion for supporting and connecting with individuals and teams, both colleagues and mentees
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of compelling, authentic creative strategies for world-changing nonprofits, Democratic elected officials, and political challengers
- Use the latest industry trends to both inform and improve our strategies
- Manage team members and guiding career development equitably
- Identifying prospective clients in need of the services that we provide and provide an entrΓ©e for us to design and pitch engagements
- Participating in agency work as well as business development, including bringing our best creative work forward in proposals and pitches
Preferred Qualifications
- Background managing teams is preferred
- Experience with business development is a plus
