Join MissionWired's Direct Mail Team as an Associate Vice President and provide strategic leadership to Democratic campaigns and organizations. Develop and implement comprehensive direct marketing fundraising strategies, overseeing client relationships and ensuring exceptional service. Lead the strategic planning and execution of offline fundraising initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage fundraising budgets. Analyze performance metrics, stay updated on industry trends, and mentor the fundraising team. Work closely with clients in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. This role requires 10+ years of in-house political or agency experience in direct response fundraising and proven success in strategic planning and execution.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Identify donor segments for direct mail campaigns, finding new opportunities to segment and engage donors for maximum impact
• Bring a creative, data-driven approach to existing and new fundraising direct mail strategies, with a focus on revenue results
• Lead the strategic planning and execution of offline fundraising initiatives for political partners; including primarily direct mail but may also include telemarketing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling and targeted direct mail fundraising campaigns
• Develop and manage fundraising budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources
• Analyze fundraising performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative approaches into fundraising efforts
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders (internal/external)
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the fundraising team, fostering professional growth and development
• Work closely with fast-paced client partners, ready to shift priorities in a high-demanding, high-volume environment with tight deadlines
