Summary

The job is for a permanent full-time Accounts Payable/Receivable position in Bangalore, India. The role involves managing supplier invoices, contractor invoices, bank reconciliations, and assisting with ad hoc payment requests and AR team tasks.

Requirements

• Part qualified or final stage accountant
• Willingness to learn and take on challenges
• Enthusiastic and proactive approach to problem solving with an ability to see the bigger picture

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of given tasks
• Good knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and Bank reconciliation

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the supplier invoice workflow (coding, follow up with approvers)
• Regular statement of account reviews, payment reconciliation
• Support in payment run
• Management of contractor invoices
• Review and maintain control processes around reimbursement of business expenses; enforcing global expense policy set by HR
• Bank reconciliations
• Support ad hoc payment requests
• Assisting with on-going system improvements which helps drive the direction of the company
• Assisting AR team when required. Tasks could include but not limited to: timesheet approval / submission process, ensuring aged debt report is produced at timely and accurate manner, support calculation of overtime payments
• Ad hoc reporting / support to the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Good initiative to drive change within the finance team, particularly with process and controls improvements
• Excellent excel skills with experience in data manipulation desirable
