Remote Attorney

Summary

Join Direct Counsel as we seek talented attorneys to work remotely/hybrid, providing practical, innovative, and cost-effective solutions in the eDiscovery, information governance, and data privacy service markets. We are looking for strong candidates with five years of experience practicing law and a demonstrated interest in eDiscovery, information governance, and privacy.

Requirements

• At least five (5) years of experience with drafting briefs, motions, and pleadings
• Taking and defending depositions
• Arguing motions
• Witness interviews
• Drafting discovery requests
• Admission to the bar in a least one of the following jurisdictions: California, Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, Virginia, Washington, DC
• Excellent, effective, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional presentation, organizational, and project management skills
• Experience working in and with remote teams
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
• The ability to manage a fast-paced workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues
• Good judgment and the ability to apply legal knowledge to problem solve by developing practical business solutions
