Requirements

  • Experience with complex litigation
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to maintain a good temperament and demonstrate empathy when dealing with clients in stressful situations
  • Ability to maintain a thorough understanding of rules and procedures for various federal and state jurisdictions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgment
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently or as part of a team
  • Skilled in managing complex litigation in multiple jurisdictions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Must be an active member of a US State Bar and in good standing

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with partners and associates on specific tasks related to assigned cases
  • Prepare initial drafts of complex pleadings, written discovery, motions, and briefs for associates and partners on assigned cases
  • Correspond with individual clients, and draft communications to be used by our client services team
  • Handle client-facing litigation tasks such as fact gathering, case workups, document collection, and more
  • Conduct factual and legal research using Westlaw and other sources for associate and partner use
  • Communicate with courts, outside counsel, clients, experts, and vendors when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

Three to five years of general litigation experience
