Requirements

  • Strong project management skills with experience coordinating complex initiatives involving cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to interface effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of audit processes, evidence collection standards, and report writing

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the project manager for external compliance / accreditation audits
  • Act as the primary liaison between external auditors and internal subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Coordinate evidence collection, facilitate interviews, and schedule meetings
  • Assist in planning the audit scope and ensure alignment with organizational priorities
  • Track and report on the remediation of audit findings to closure
  • Collaborate with internal leadership to define the content and scope of internal audits
  • Collect, review, and analyze audit evidence for accuracy and completeness
  • Author detailed audit reports outlining processes, findings, and actionable recommendations
  • Facilitate audits to maintain industry accreditation requirements
  • Develop and manage administrative resources, including Jira project plans, document repositories, and stakeholder preparation materials
  • Monitor remediation efforts for identified findings to maintain accreditation status

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with IT General Controls (ITGC) frameworks, including areas such as access management, change management, system operations, and data integrity
  • Experience in IT auditing or a similar role, which would enable the candidate to be more effective in understanding and managing IT-specific audit processes
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jira and document management systems
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in managing audit evidence and tracking findings
  • Excels in facilitating collaboration between diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Proactively identifies and resolves issues to ensure audit timelines and objectives are met
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment requiring adaptability and critical thinking
