Autonomous Systems Engineer

Summary

Join HitPay as an Autonomous Systems Engineer to design and deploy internal AI agents that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and create new business opportunities. You will collaborate with various teams to develop production-grade, LLM-powered workflows. This is a highly technical role requiring strong ownership and a passion for building real-world agentic systems. The ideal candidate possesses 0-2 years of experience, a strong backend or full-stack engineering foundation (Python preferred), and demonstrated interest in LLM frameworks and workflow automation. The position offers a competitive base salary and equity, and is fully remote in Vietnam.

Requirements

• Have 0–2 years of experience; internships or academic projects in AI/LLMs/agentic workflows are valuable
• Possess a strong backend or full-stack engineering foundation (Python preferred)
• Demonstrate interest or side projects involving LLM frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI, Vercel AI SDK, etc.)
• Demonstrate interest or side projects involving Workflow automation
• Demonstrate interest or side projects involving Supabase, Clerk, V0.dev , or similar low-code tools
• Have a strong builder mindset — enjoys prototyping, testing, and shipping fast
• Be passionate about LLMs and AI use in real business contexts
• Be curious, autonomous, and comfortable working directly with leadership
• Be capable of full project ownership: scoping → building → deploying → improving

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy internal AI agents that help HitPay scale operations, reduce costs, and unlock new business opportunities
• Work across sales, support, compliance, and operations teams to build production-grade, LLM-powered workflows
• Build real-world agentic systems
• Identify 1–2 high-impact internal workflows for automation
• Deliver a working MVP agent with real internal users
• Deploy at least one fully autonomous agent to production (e.g. KYC reviewer, internal ticket triage)
• Contribute to a roadmap for future agentic systems at HitPay
