Summary
Join T-Rex Solutions as a Senior AWS DevSecOps Engineer to contribute to the US Department of the Treasury's TCloud enterprise cloud development. This effort involves creating multi-cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, OCI, and GCP) to address the Department's infrastructure needs. You will operate and maintain cloud environments, develop automation and CI/CD infrastructure, ensure observability and resilience, and support security policy implementation. The role requires a US citizenship, a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience, and expertise in cloud environments and various tools. Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelors degree and four (4) years or more of related experience or Masters and two (2) or more years of related experience
- Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in 4 or more of the following areas: Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
- Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
- Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
- PowerShell or Bash Scripting
- Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
- Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner
- Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
- Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles
- Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts
- Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments
- Support implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance
- Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solution Architect Associate or higher certification
- Active Treasury clearance preferred
