AWS DevOps Engineer

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with a focus on AWS
• Strong expertise in AWS networking, WAF, and serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, EventBridge)
• Hands-on experience in cloud cost optimization, including automation of financial operations (FinOps)
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and system monitoring
• AWS Certification (DevOps Engineer – Professional or Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional) is required

Responsibilities

• Design and implement granular WAF (Web Application Firewall) rules tailored for WebAPI environments
• Develop and manage scalable cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, Step Functions, and EventBridge
• Drive FinOps practices by implementing automation and recommendations to manage and reduce network and data transfer costs (e.g., TGW)
• Ensure infrastructure security, performance, and cost-efficiency using DevOps best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud infrastructure with business and product needs
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and support high availability and disaster recovery strategies

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to Generative AI is a plus
