Aws Solutions Architect

Summary

Join Amber Labs, a cutting-edge UK and European technology consultancy, as a highly skilled Solutions/Technical Architect. You will be responsible for translating High-Level Designs (HLDs) into Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and bridging the gap between architecture and engineering teams. This role requires deep expertise in AWS infrastructure and enterprise-grade systems, with a focus on designing and implementing resilient and secure architectures for high-traffic environments. You will need extensive AWS experience, strong infrastructure automation skills, and excellent stakeholder management abilities. The position is remote but requires UK residency and a BPSS security clearance. Amber Labs prioritizes a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Have extensive AWS experience, including core infrastructure services, networking, security, and scalability best practices
• Possess a proven ability to design, document, and implement infrastructure solutions for high-traffic enterprise environments
• Have strong experience with infrastructure automation, orchestration tools, and DevOps methodologies
• Possess excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between architecture and engineering teams
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and a pragmatic approach to technical decision-making
• Be UK based
• Hold BPSS Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Possess deep knowledge of AWS components, with a strong emphasis on granular design and implementation
• Convert HLDs into LLDs with clear technical specifications for engineers (DevOps & Developers)
• Design and implement solutions for platforms handling hundreds of thousands to millions of transactions per day
• Ensure solutions are robust, resilient, and adhere to industry security best practices
• Confidently justify architectural decisions, providing clear reasoning and technical validation when challenged
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of architectural designs
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of orchestration layers, UIs, and online services to support enterprise applications
