Azure Cloud Engineer

Summary

Join ARC Group as a remote Azure Cloud Engineer! This contract position, running through June 2025 with potential extension or conversion to full-time employment, offers tremendous career growth. Requirements

• Have extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration
• Be competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system
• Have extensive experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations
• Possess high critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy
• Have the ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Have the ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
• Have the ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
• Have the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Have experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
• Have experience using Agile methodology
• Have 3-5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of transferable experience demonstrating proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting technology
• Have a related Bachelor's degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience
• Have minimum 6 years with Cloud experience
• Have strong experience with Azure
• Have experience with Azure Power BI
• Have experience with Azure Purview
• Have experience with Azure Landing Zone

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology
• Manage system/application environment and ongoing operations
• Ensure that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards
• Research, design, implement and test technology solutions
• Proactively monitor and report performance and utilization of assigned technologies
• Troubleshoot software and/or hardware issues/failures
• Resolve alerts and perform remediation activities
• Manage problem or escalated tickets and tasks and out of cycle requests from systems/software owners
• Collect and present data for reporting and planning
• Assist with developing tactical strategies, processes and procedures related to systems/application administration
• Determine migration and upgrade impacts and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors
