Remote Azure Infrastructure & AI Services Engineer

Summary

Join our team as an Azure Infrastructure Engineer and play a pivotal role in provisioning and managing Azure services, with a focus on AI-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (C-level required); German (C or B-level) is a plus
• Extensive experience with Azure services, with a strong focus on AI-related services
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Bicep, YAML, and JSON for infrastructure automation
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Bash
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Deep understanding of database systems, especially MS-SQL Server and PostgreSQL. Experience with database design, administration, and ETL processes
• Familiarity with AI concepts and experience working on AI-related projects
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage Azure subscriptions, network security groups, application gateways, and other Azure services
• Configure and maintain VMs, including monitoring, patching, and incident management
• Set up and manage database servers (MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and associated infrastructure
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Azure DevOps, Bicep, YAML, and JSON
• Automate tasks and create scripts using PowerShell and Bash
