Requirements

• Have experience integrating and extending the Backbase digital banking platform
• Have 5+ years of production-level experience with Java
• Possess knowledge of Spring and Spring extensions, like Web MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security
• Have experience with SOAP and RESTful Web Services and tools like XML, JSON, and RAML
• Possess Microservices architecture knowledge
• Have experience performing Unit Testing using JUnit
• Possess knowledge of application Servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, or JBoss
• Have a strong grasp of Git, Subversion, and other source control technologies
• Possess familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns and frameworks like Apache Camel
• Have experience developing large-scale distributed systems
• Have experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
• Have experience with cloud technologies, e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes
• Have experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data
• Possess good knowledge of SQL
• Have experience in the financial services industry or professional services
• Have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field

• Integrate and extend the Backbase digital banking platform
• Work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
• Transform business requirements into technical architecture
• Collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, and the development team
• Apply Agile values to your work
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Interact with clients to solve their business challenges
• Perform peer code reviews

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience with or knowledge of Agile Methodology, such as Scrum and Kanban
• Possess knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration (CI)
• Have knowledge of Web Application Security (OWASP) and best practices for writing secure code
• Have experience with Persistence frameworks like Hibernate
• Have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
• Have experience with Databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, or NoSQL
