Back End Developer in Argentina

Summary

AlphaPoint is seeking a skilled back-end developer to join their team of creators in developing mission-critical websites, applications, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web design, with at least 7 years of hands-on coding experience in .Net Core and C#. They should also have experience with Microservice Architectures and be proficient in MySQL databases and writing highly secure web applications. Preferred skills include knowledge of design patterns, experience with Kafka, Pulsar or NATS, and a strong understanding of double entry ledger systems. Requirements

• Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web design
• 7+ years hands on coding experience in .Net Core, C#
• Experience with Microservice Architectures
• Strong MySQL database experience
• Experience in writing highly secure web applications

Responsibilities

• Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks
• Design robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients
• Optimize web applications for performance and scalability
• Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field
• Experience applying design patterns
• Previous experience working with Kafka, Pulsar or NATS
• Desirable knowledge of double entry ledger systems
• Strong Preference for experience in Financial services and/or Crypto Environments
• Experience in designing RESTful APIs, specifically for mobile apps
