Backend Developer in Argentina

Summary

AlphaPoint is seeking a skilled back-end developer with 7-10 years of .Net Core and C# experience to join their team. The role involves designing APIs, optimizing web applications, and collaborating with the team to enhance user experience. Preferred skills include knowledge of design patterns, double entry ledger systems, Kafka, Pulsar or NATS, RESTful API design for mobile apps, and experience in Financial services and/or Crypto Environments.

Requirements

• Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web design
• 7-10 + years hands on coding experience in .Net Core, C#
• Experience with Microservice Architectures
• Strong MySQL database experience
• Experience in writing highly secure web applications
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools

Responsibilities

• Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues, and profile and analyze bottlenecks
• Design robust APIs to support mobile and desktop clients
• Optimize web applications for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
• Develop ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field
• Experience applying design patterns
• Previous experience working with Kafka, Pulsar or NATS
• Desirable knowledge of double entry ledger systems
• Strong Preference for experience in Financial services and/or Crypto Environments
• Experience in designing RESTful APIs, specifically for mobile apps
