Summary

The job is for a Backend Developer - DeFi role focused on a well-funded DeFi project in Lisbon, Portugal. The candidate should have strong full stack experience, some exposure to Solidity development, and be willing to build backend. Travel to Lisbon once a month is required.

Requirements

• Strong full stack experience (typescript and/or golang)
• Some exposure to Solidity development
• Backend experience and willingness to build backend
• Must be willing to travel to Lisbon once a month

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services related to the protocol
• Ensure data consistency, fault tolerance, scalability
• Develop APIs for front-end consumption and third-party integrations
• Conduct thorough code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests
• Stay updated with the latest security threats and ensure our protocol remains resilient against attacks
• Contribute to frontend development and support integrations of web3 frontends with backend and smart contracts
• Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on EVM Blockchains (Arbitrum, Ethereum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, others)
• Ensure all smart contracts are optimised, gas-efficient, and adhere to the highest security standards
