Back-End Developer

Summary

Join Huble, a HubSpot global partner, as a Back-End Developer to build web applications, web pages, and integrate HubSpot with other SaaS platforms. You will focus on creating reusable modules and maintaining existing applications. The role requires collaboration with the team, but doesn't involve direct client interaction except for occasional technical expert participation in meetings. You will be responsible for ensuring code quality, adhering to development standards, and proactively improving processes. The position requires several years of experience in back-end development with specific technologies and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of Back-End Development experience
• Proficiency in PHP7 and PHP5, with strong knowledge of advanced capabilities and efficient coding
• Experience with Symfony (versions 5-7) or similar frameworks
• 3-5 years of HTML5 expertise, focusing on semantic and efficient code
• 2-4 years of JavaScript skills for advanced web functionality
• 1-2 years of Node.js experience in developing scalable back-end services
• Familiarity with Hubspot CMS

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications, web pages, website modules, and landing pages
• Create integrations between the HubSpot platform and various SaaS platforms
• Maintain web applications, implement new features, and resolve bugs
• Review API documentation for feasibility of requirements
• Address issues in existing applications as reported by QA specialists or AMs
• Document all bug resolutions in the relevant QA documentation
• Develop and maintain back-End coding standards and processes
• Ensure adherence to Huble’s back-End development standards
• Oversee live updates per Huble’s standard procedures
• Participate in daily development standup meetings
• Provide technical solutions to meet client requirements efficiently
• Develop integration solutions based on client needs
• Research and propose ideas to enhance the website experience
• Join scoping sessions to translate client needs into development hours and costs

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years of React familiarity to support front-end tasks
• 1-2 years of experience with iPaaS solutions for cloud and on-premise integrations
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
• Excellent communication abilities with clients, team members, and senior management
• Timely escalation of issues to management to prevent escalation
• Proactive improvement of web technology knowledge and sharing with the team
• Ability to take initiative and work independently while collaborating with the team
