Summary
Join Kiln, a leading enterprise-grade rewards platform, as a Back-end Engineer in Paris or remotely from Western EU. You will build and maintain the core product, working closely with Product and Infrastructure teams. Responsibilities include developing data aggregators for blockchains, Golang microservices, and automation processes. You will also ensure seamless service communication and minimal downtime. Additionally, you will contribute to team growth by mentoring and attracting new talent. The role requires strong communication skills (French and English), Golang experience, and experience building user-facing products. Requirements
- Strong communication skills both in French & English to facilitate the design of scalable architectures with SREs
- Golang (over 1 year of experience)
- Over 4 years of experience designing, building, and deploying user-facing, infrastructure-related, and/or API-based products (Python, PHP...)
Responsibilities
- Develop data aggregators for blockchains
- Develop new Golang microservices within the Kiln stack
- Take part in automation & deployment processes
- Framework development
- As you architect, test, and refine the Kiln platform, you will ensure that our services communicate with each other seamlessly, have minimal downtime, and recover quickly (daytime, no on-calls)
- Everyone on the early team plays an important role in attracting, closing, and growing other talented team members
- You can also mentor or brainstorm with other backend developers
Preferred Qualifications
- French can be a "nice to have" if you have several professional web3 experiences
- Experience coding in JavaScript and TypeScript is a plus
- Experience working with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Continuous Integration is a plus
- Familiarity with CGP is a plus
- Curiosity and the ability to dig into a topic and follow through
- Team spirit: discuss, do not try to impose
- Be pragmatic to not over-engineer unnecessarily: startups need to quickly adapt
- Own what is coded and shipped to production
