Backend Developer

Requirements

• Possess a general interest in technology and problem-solving
• Be diligent and thoughtful
• Have experience/expertise in Python
• Have experience/expertise in Django (or equivalent web framework)
• Have experience/expertise in domain modeling
• Have experience/expertise in HTTP and REST APIs
• Have experience/expertise in writing robust and fault-tolerant software
• Have experience/expertise in Celery and async processing
• Have experience/expertise in Postgres
• Be able to work in Spain/EU without a VISA

Responsibilities

• Solve difficult design challenges in the Spanish energy market, requiring strong attention to detail and domain modeling
• Solve difficult technical problems, including handling millions of meter readings daily and integrating data into a machine learning pipeline
• Contribute to the disruption of the Spanish energy market by implementing innovative solutions
• Work for a company fighting climate change and promoting greener technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience in AWS
• Have experience in Terraform, Packer, Consul
• Have experience in React and Redux
