Backend Developer

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a software engineer and education in Computer Science or related field
• In-depth knowledge of OOP languages such as Java or Kotlin, ideally Kotlin
• Solid experience with SpringBoot or similar to implement microservices
• Familiarity with industry best practices for Web API design
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (preferably Azure, but GCP or AWS also welcomed)
• Fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus but not mandatory

• Collaborate with other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' requirements
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring high-quality standards

• Continuously improve your knowledge and skills, keeping up-to-date with modern backend technologies and development practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in creating microservices using Kotlin and deploying them regularly to a Kubernetes cluster
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm
• Familiarity with service meshes like Istio
