Summary

Join TechBiz Global and work as a part-time, remote Back-End Developer for one of our top clients. Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance back-end services and APIs. Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to deliver new features. Write clean, testable, secure code, and optimize applications for speed and scalability. Troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems. This role requires 1+ year of back-end development experience, proficiency in at least one back-end language/framework, database experience, and familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of professional experience in back-end development
  • Strong proficiency in at least one back-end language\/framework (e.g., Node.js, Python\/Django, PHP\/Laravel, Ruby on Rails, Java\/Spring)
  • Experience with databases (SQL and\/or NoSQL)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL
  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure data handling
  • Comfortable with Git and version control best practices
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance back-end services and APIs
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver new features
  • Write clean, testable code and ensure the security and integrity of data
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Basic knowledge of CI\/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of agile methodologies
