Backend Engineer

Summary

Apify is seeking a talented Backend Engineer to work on their core web scraping and automation infrastructure. The role involves creating new features and solving scalability challenges in a small cross-functional team. Apify uses a variety of technologies including React.js, TypeScript/Node.js, AWS, Kubernetes, and GitHub, among others.

Requirements

• Strong technical background or professional track record
• 2+ years of industry experience building backend systems and APIs
• Great skills at developing and debugging in TypeScript/Node.js, or have this skill in some other programming language and are able to learn anything quickly
• Familiarity with Linux

Responsibilities

Create new features and solve complex scalability challenges for the core web scraping and automation infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS, other public clouds, and any technology mentioned above is a plus
