Summary

Dapper Labs is hiring a Backend Engineer to join their team and focus on the intersection of blockchain and gaming. The successful candidate will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs, optimize and ensure scalability and security of backend systems, develop server-side logic for blockchain integration, create technical documentation, collaborate with teams, tackle complex issues, manage database interactions, and utilize source control tools. They should be experienced in backend development, proficient in server-side languages, Agile methodologies, and passionate about blockchain technology.

Requirements

• Experienced in backend development, with a strong grasp of server-side languages such as GoLang or NodeJS
• Proficient in managing server environments and understanding core principles of scalable architecture
• Experienced with Agile development methodologies and dynamic team collaboration
• A solution-driven developer who can adapt to evolving project demands and deliver high-quality results

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend services and APIs
• Optimize and ensure the scalability and security of our backend systems
• Develop server-side logic to integrate with blockchain technologies and handle high-volume transactions
• Implement monitoring for system performance and reliability, optimizing when necessary
• Create and maintain technical documentation for system architecture and backend processes
• Collaborate closely with frontend teams and other technical units to design cohesive and integrated solutions
• Tackle complex technical issues and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Ensure the highest level of performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of deploying and managing cloud-based server environments
• Strong experience with databases and server-side integration with various database technologies
• Capability to develop utilities and tools that enhance backend functionality and user interaction
