Remote Backend Engineer

Summary

Join a Unicorn-status scale-up as a Software Engineer and contribute to building the main backend infrastructure and API services. As an engineer at Incode, you will have the ability to build from scratch, influence product decisions, collaborate with partner teams, and own a wide scope of responsibilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin
• Experience with Spring ecosystem
• Experience with spring framework ecosystem
• Experience with observability tools
• Experience with SQL/No SQL databases. Preferable Postgres and MongoDB
• Experience in designing domain models and web apis
• Quality oriented approach to software development
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with ML centric systems (optional)
• Advanced English skills

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of backend and DevOps engineers
• Write high quality code with test coverage
• Collaborate closely with QA, Customer Success, Products
• Participate in code reviews
• Participate in full cycle development: from model and api design to support in production
• Active role in architectural and technology decisions
