You will also participate in team discussions, assist in designing software architectures, and contribute to software quality and security. Requirements
- To be currently finishing your degree in a computer science, software engineering or related technical field
- To have a way of working that is characterized by team spirit, excellent communication skills in English (mandatory) and high-quality standards set to yourself for what you produce
- To be willing to embrace DevOps and Agile methodology
- To be willing to learn from a multi-disciplinary and multicultural team
Responsibilities
- Support the development of modern backend software that powers the digital commerce experience for Mercedes-Benz
- Help build and maintain microservices-based web applications using Kotlin and/or Java
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team (including frontend, QA, DevOps, and product) on backend-related tasks and features
- Learn and apply DevOps principles to contribute to the testing, deployment, and monitoring of backend solutions
- Participate in team discussions to solve technical challenges in practical, efficient ways
- Assist in designing software and system architectures, gaining exposure to technical specification processes and proven design patterns
- Contribute to the quality and security of our software by writing unit tests and following best practices in code hygiene and modern security standards
Preferred Qualifications
Some professional experience/internship experiences are a plus but not mandatory
