Backend Engineer

This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing secure backend services using Node.js and related frameworks. You will work with relational databases, containerization technologies, and cloud services platforms. The ideal candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of Node.js, Nest.js, and multi-process architecture, and experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Nodejs and related web frameworks such as Nest.js
• A deep understanding and multi-process architecture and the threading limitations of Javascript
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience working on and/or with containerization technologies such as Docker, and Kubernetes
• Familiar with cloud services platforms such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), GCP (Google Cloud Platform), or Azure
• Familiarity with testing tools
• Experience with API creation and RESTful services
• Experience with Git version control
• JavaScript (Strong)
• PostgreSQL
