Summary

Smart Protection is seeking a Backend Engineer with a creative mindset and desire to learn. The engineer will work on the core of Smart Protection's platform, focusing on performance and testing. They will design and implement new functionalities, develop maintainable code, and contribute to project planning and architectural decisions. Required qualifications include Python application development, SQL databases, AWS experience (desirable), ability to work in an asynchronous environment, familiarity with version control tools, communication skills, problem-solving mentality, experience with distributed systems, open-source technologies, and cloud platforms, a strong background in computer science, and a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science. Preferred qualifications include attitude, energy, desire to learn, thrives on challenging situations, hands-on attitude, and interest in the cybersecurity industry.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new functionalities for our core platform and customer-facing tools
• Developing simple, maintainable code following SOLID principles
• Contributing to project planning and architectural decisions in collaboration with the team
