Backend Engineer Trainee

As a Junior Backend Engineer Intern in our Sword Trainee Program, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our web applications. This 12-month internship provides opportunities to work on real-world problems, learn from experienced engineers, and build valuable skills. Requirements

• Ending the Degree/Masters in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Knowledge of server-side languages such as Node.js , Go, Python, Java, or Ruby
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Basic knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, handling the server side of web applications
• Assist in the development and maintenance of server-side applications and databases
• Participate in code reviews and debugging processes
• Ability to work with a team to deliver and improve coding and architecture skills
• Establish a good relationship with the different team members, and understand the value of the combination of efforts on the final output of different tasks
• Learn to effectively communicate with the different stakeholders
• Learn how to translate a business need into an actionable and added value solution within our framework
