Backend Python Engineer

Summary

Join Holycode's Hublead project team as a Backend (Python) Engineer. This full-time position offers the chance to collaborate closely with the Tech Lead in a fast-growing Salestech company. You will design, develop, and maintain features, focusing on building robust server-side systems and ensuring seamless integration. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of backend development experience, strong communication skills, and experience with Python and Django. Requirements

• 3+ / 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a small, collaborative team
• A proactive mindset and passion for building scalable solutions
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Experience with versioning tools (Git, svn, etc.)
• Experience with Docker
• Strong experience with back-end frameworks, RESTful APIs, and databases (SQL or NoSQL)
• Strong experience with Python and Django
• Strong aptitude to solve complex problems and abstract thinking ability skills
• Security aware : committed to implementing data protection & IT security best practices

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to design, develop, and maintain features end-to-end
• Work in an agile environment with a strong focus on delivering high-quality code
• Contribute to improving development workflows and team practices
• Design and implement APIs, database structures, and scalable back-end systems using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies
• Focus on performance, security, and maintainability of server-side architecture
• Write unit and integration tests

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
