Backend Software Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Software Engineer on the Trading Infrastructure team at sFOX, a full-service prime dealer. The role involves designing and implementing trading systems using technologies like Golang, C#, or Java, with a focus on increasing speed and functionality of the trading infrastructure.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing trading systems, whether in traditional finance or in the cryptocurrency ecosystem
• Deep knowledge of Order types and routing, exchange management and systems performance is required
• Experience building high-performance, low-latency distributed trading systems
• 8-10 years of hands-on software engineering - Golang expertise is desirable, but equivalent frameworks such as C# and Java are applicable

Responsibilities

• Work on features to increase the speed and functionality of our trading infrastructure
• Play an active role in helping our CTO office influence system architecture and roadmap
• Collaborate with our Product Management team to form a plan of attack for new features, optimize performance of services and write tests

Preferred Qualifications

• You have a passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies
• Data manipulation - SQL and Snowflake is a plus
