Backend Software Engineer Intern

Summary

Join GameChanger's 10-week paid internship program (June 9th - August 15th, $50/hour) and contribute to our Core Services team. You'll design, write, test, and release deliverables, building the foundation of our system alongside experienced engineers. This full-stack development internship utilizes technologies like TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, Docker, and Vue. The program includes a trip to NYC for orientation, MacBook provision, remote work flexibility (excluding certain states), mentorship, and networking opportunities. The internship is open to those pursuing a Bachelor's degree or seeking a career change.

Requirements

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or looking to make a career change
• You are willing to participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) while learning best practices in software architecture, testing, and clean coding
• Learn how to contribute to a CI-driven, scaled engineering organization
• Develop full-stack applications using technologies like TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, Docker, and Vue
