Summary

Join our client, an Australian-owned company, as a BDM Support staff member and provide essential support in the successful implementation of the sales plan. You will work closely with the Head of Sales and the BDM team to make initial phone calls, appointments, and proposals to maintain and grow company revenue.

Responsibilities

• Make initial phone calls and appointments for BDMs, booking first appointments
• Focus on re-engaging lost customers and improving relationships with downward-trading customers
• Revitalise inactive customers and reintroduce the client as a key furniture supplier
• Meet or exceed assigned budgets for calls and converted meetings
• Identify market opportunities and proactively assess client needs
• Propose suitable products to maintain and grow company revenue
• Lead solutions-based efforts to address client needs, coordinating necessary resources
• Maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
• Monitor client debt and ensure alignment with company terms
• Prepare various status reports on activities, closings, follow-ups, and goal adherence
• Maintain weekly reporting and make recommendations for performance improvement
• Make 30 customer calls daily, targeting 60 commercial customer appointments per month
• Manage and analyse sales databases to identify market opportunities
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth sales operations
