Join Numan as their Behavioural Medicine, Preventative Health Lead and embed behavioural science into the product experience across the patient lifecycle. Design and validate evidence-based interventions to support long-term patient engagement and habit formation. Collaborate with product, design, clinical, and engineering teams to ensure all products are rooted in behavioural insight. Shape how preventative health is delivered in digital care. This strategic role involves designing behaviourally intelligent products, conducting behavioural audits, developing personas and journey maps, applying behavioural science frameworks, and creating intervention strategies. You will also drive strategic integration, lead measurement and validation efforts, and conduct competitor benchmarking.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in applied behavioural science within digital health or adjacent fields
  • Hands-on experience with behavioural experimentation , including A/B testing, cohort analysis, and outcome measurement
  • Strong working knowledge of COM-B, TDF, BCT and related behavioural design models
  • A track record of designing interventions focused on long-term engagement and habit development
  • Experience developing behavioural strategies aligned to preventative health or other clinical domains (e.g., obesity, hormonal, or sexual health)
  • A collaborative mindsetβ€”able to work across product, UX, clinical, and engineering teams
  • Confidence in communicating behavioural science concepts across functions
  • A passion for empowering patients through preventative health solutions

Responsibilities

  • Designing Behaviourally Intelligent Products
  • Conducting behavioural audits of UX/UI, journeys, and content
  • Developing behavioural personas and journey maps tied to clinical goals
  • Applying frameworks like COM-B, TDF, BCT taxonomies , and intervention mapping to shape our approach
  • Creating behavioural intervention strategies using logic models, behavioural triggers, and habit formation techniques
  • Driving Strategic Integration
  • Working within a cross-functional product squad, embedded in the Behavioural Medicine function
  • Contributing to key planning sessions, design sprints, and decision-making forums
  • Collaborating on AI and human coaching strategies to support long-term behaviour change
  • Leading Measurement & Validation
  • Defining behavioural outcomes and developing metrics to evaluate success
  • Designing experimental validation plans, including A/B tests and engagement analysis
  • Supporting clinical research with integrated behavioural components
  • Conducting competitor benchmarking to identify opportunities for differentiation
