Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certification as a community health worker
  • Certification as a community health worker or 1-3 years of relevant experience in community health, social services, or related fields as it is directly related to the field of Community Health Work
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish
  • Must reside in the state of CA
  • Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills, with a compassionate and persuasive approach
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, including inbound and outbound calls and campaign support
  • Proficiency in navigating data entry systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • Reliable, fast-speed internet connection, a quiet and professional remote work environment, and basic computer literacy and accessing, downloading, and using specialized software

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to engage members, promote programs, and build trust
  • Manage inbound calls, addressing member inquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • Provide program information, resolve member concerns, and support their participation in health-focused initiatives
  • Execute targeted outreach campaigns, ensuring consistency and accuracy in messaging
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of member interactions in the outreach center database
  • Collaborate with the team and leadership to refine outreach strategies, share best practices, and meet organizational goals
  • Consistently achieve or exceed call targets and performance metrics
  • Stay informed about company programs, updates, and outreach techniques through ongoing training
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and understanding of the communities being served

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with health and social services systems and a deep understanding of community health principles
  • Experience working with diverse populations and addressing social determinants of health
